The Eats365 POS allows you to configure your printer’s behavior, allowing you to control when and how  item tickets are printed. You can do the configuration on the Printing settings in the Merchant Portal 2.0.

In this article, you’ll learn about Item Ticket printing settings and how to change them in the Merchant Portal.

Configure Item Ticket Printing settings

To set up Item Ticket Printing settings, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to the Merchant Portal. 
2. On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings. 
3. Click on Printing. Then, select Item Ticket Settings.
4. Turn on  or off  a setting based on your preference.
   
5. At the top right, click on Save to confirm.

You can change the following options in the Item Ticket Printing settings:

Item Ticket Printing

Print Dine-in Item Ticket

Enable this setting to print an item ticket when a dine-in order is placed on the Self Order Kiosk.

Print Takeout Item Ticket

Enable this setting to print an item ticket when a takeout order is placed on the Self Order Kiosk.

Language

Printing Language

Select the language that will be printed on the item ticket. Choose System default to print the item ticket in the language which the customer selected in the Kiosk interface when ordering, or select a default language. 

Date Format

Format

Select how you want the date to be printed on the item ticket.

Serial Number Format

Serial Number Digits

Select how many digits will be used to generate a serial number. For example, if you select “2” the serial number will show "00, 01, 02,” and so on.

Serial Number Reset Rule

Select how the serial number will be reset. You can select from the following options: 

• Reset by Capacity Limit - The serial number will be reset when the serial number capacity is reached. For example, if you set “2” as the serial number digits, then the serial number will reset after “99” and goes back to “01”.
• Reset by Capacity Limit and Reset Daily - The serial number will be reset when the serial number capacity is reached and at the end of the day.
