Set up Tax Invoice (Taiwan)

Learn how to set up Tax Invoice for a restaurant on the Merchant Portal.

In Taiwan, merchants must link an E-Invoice Platform to their POS to issue Tax Invoices for transactions.

In this article, you’ll learn how to configure the Tax Invoice feature for your Eats365 POS.

To enable Tax Invoice for your POS, follow the steps below:

Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Experience Merchant Portal 2.0.

Log in to Merchant Portal.
On the left panel, click on Integration, then select E-Tax Integration.
Toggle on Enable , then beside "Type," click on the drop-down menu and choose the merchant’s preferred E-Invoice Platform.
Enter the following information:
- Cetustek
  - E-Tax Merchant ID
  - Reseller ID
- UXB2B
  - Tax Invoice Merchant ID
  - Address
  - Operator Name
- Universal EC
  - Tax Invoice Merchant ID
  - Address
  - Operator Name
To print the branch name and POS Device ID on the physical copy of the Tax Invoice, enable the following settings:
- Turn on Branch Name, then enter the branch’s name.
- Turn on Print Issuer.
Click on Save to confirm.

Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Back to Classic Theme.

Log in to Merchant Portal.
On the left panel, click on App Store, then App Library.
Select Available Apps. Then, find the Tax Invoice platform that you want to set up and click on Get This App.
Once you’ve added the app, click on My Apps.
Next to the Tax Invoice platform, click on Setting.
Toggle on Enable . Then, enter the following information:
- Cetustek
  - E-Tax Merchant ID
  - Reseller ID
- UXB2B
  - Tax Invoice Merchant ID
  - Address
  - Operator Name
- Universal EC
  - Tax Invoice Merchant ID
  - Address
  - Operator Name
To print the branch name and POS Device ID on the physical copy of the Tax Invoice, enable the following settings:
- Turn on Branch Name, then enter the branch’s name.
- Turn on Print Issuer.
At the top right, click on Save to confirm.

To turn off the Tax Invoice feature for a restaurant, follow the steps below:

Log in to Merchant Portal.
On the left panel, click on App Store, then App Library.
Click on My Apps. Then, find the Tax Invoice platform that you want to disable.
Next to the Tax Invoice platform, click on Setting.
Toggle off Enable .
Click on Save to confirm.

This disables the Tax Invoice function on all POS terminals under the restaurant.
