Set up and install Kitchen Display System
Learn how to set up and install the Kitchen Display System.

In this article, you’ll learn how to set up and install the Kitchen Display System.
Before you start
To get your device ready to install Kitchen Display System, make sure you have the following ready:
- An iPad connected to a stable internet connection
- A Kitchen Display System license
- An Eats365 POS terminal
- A Kitchen Station set up on the POS
- A printer configured to print kitchen tickets
Install a Kitchen Display System
To install a Kitchen Display System, follow the steps below:
- On your iPad, open the Apple App Store .
- Search for "Eats365 KDS Touch."
- From the search results, select Eats365 KDS Touch, then tap Get. Once the download is complete, you can find the Eats365 KDS Touch app on your device.
Pair a Kitchen Display System to the POS
To pair a Kitchen Display System to the POS, follow the steps below:
- On your iPad, open the Eats365 KDS Touch app.
Note: Your device may ask you to enable permissions. Tap OK to continue. - Tap Pair Device. A QR code is then generated from the KDS Touch app, which the POS needs to scan in order to pair.
- On the POS terminal, log in to the Eats365 POS.
- At the top left, tap Settings .
- Under General, tap Device Pairing, then tap Kitchen Display.
- Tap Scan QR Code. The POS terminal’s camera turns on.
- Align the Kitchen Display System QR code to the POS terminal’s camera.
- Once the QR code is successfully scanned, the screen redirects to a page where you can configure your Kitchen Display’s basic settings. You can choose to customize the Kitchen Display’s settings now or do this later on.
Note: For more information, refer to Configure Kitchen Display System settings. - Select a Kitchen Station.
Note: This is a required step. You won’t be able to continue to pair without selecting a Kitchen Station. - At the top right, tap Pair Device to continue pairing.
- At the top right, tap Save to confirm.
Once the Kitchen Display System is paired with the POS, all confirmed orders appear on the Kitchen Display.
Unpair a Kitchen Display System from the POS
To unpair a Kitchen Display System from the POS, follow the steps below:
- On the POS terminal, log in to the Eats365 POS.
- At the top left, tap Settings .
- Under General, tap Device Pairing, then tap Kitchen Display.
- Select the Kitchen Display System that you’d like to unpair.
- At the top right, tap Unpair Device.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Once the Kitchen Display System is unpaired from the POS, the Kitchen Display, including its configurations, is deleted. When you pair the device again, you must configure the settings to your preferences again.
