Manage the menu on the Dynamic Digital Menu
Learn how to set up and customize the menu displayed on the Dynamic Digital Menu.
After Eats365 Support handles the setup and configuration of your Dynamic Digital Menu, you can start creating the menu that will show on the Digital Menu. You can classify items by category, create single and combo items, add modifiers, and more.
In this article, you’ll learn how to create and manage your menu for the Digital Menu.
Set menu items to appear on the Digital Menu
The Digital Menu displays various types of information, such as categories, item prices, item images, menu tags, and dining type availability. To make sure menu items and their information appear on the Digital Menu, configure the following from the item settings:
- Add item image
- Add item prices (for Dine-in, Takeout, or Dine-in and Takeout)
- Specify the item’s Dining Type availability (Dine-in, Takeout, or Dine-in and Takeout)
- Make sure access permission for Digital Menu is turned on for both the item and the category (Merchant Portal only)
- Add menu tags to items if they require any
Present the Digital Menu on a display
To present the Digital Menu on your display, follow the steps below:
- Prepare the Digital Menu access link.
- On the display that you’ll be using for the Digital Menu, open the web browser.
- Enter the access link into the browser’s web address box. Then, proceed to the website.
Once the website has loaded, the Digital Menu should appear on the display.
Switch between menus
Restaurants with multiple menu options can create time slots for specific categories. This allows the Digital Menu to display a different menu at designated times automatically. The menu shown will switch seamlessly as long as the Digital Menu device maintains an internet connection.
