Set up and install Expedite Display
Learn how to set up and install the Expedite Display.
The Expedite Display allows your packers and restaurant expeditors to keep track and manage all orders in a single display. From the Expedite Display, expeditors can see order information, complete an order, and call an order for pickup. To learn more about the Expedite Display, visit eats365pos.com.
In this article, you’ll learn how to set up and install the Expedite Display.
Before you start
To get your device ready to install Expedite Display, make sure you have the following ready:
- An iPad connected to a stable internet connection
- An Expedite Display license
- An Eats365 POS terminal
Install the Expedite Display
To install Expedite Display, follow the steps below:
- On your iPad, open the Apple App Store.
- Search for Eats365 Expedite.
- From the search results, select Eats365 Expedite, then tap Get. Once the download is complete, you can find the Eats365 Expedite app on your device.
Pair Expedite Display to the POS
To pair the Expedite Display to the POS, follow the steps below:
- On your iPad, open Eats365 Expedite.
Note: Your device may ask you to enable permissions. Tap OK to continue. A QR code is generated from the Expedite Display, which the POS needs to scan in order to pair. - On the POS terminal, log in to the Eats365 POS.
- At the top left, tap Settings .
- Under General, tap Device Pairing, then tap Expedite.
- Tap Scan QR Code. The POS terminal’s camera turns on.
- Align the Expedite Display QR code to the POS terminal’s camera.
- Once the QR code is successfully scanned, the screen redirects to a page where you can configure your Expedite Display’s basic settings. You can choose to customize the Expedite Display now or do this later on. For more information, refer to Configure Expedite Display settings.
- At the top right, tap Pair Device to continue pairing.
Once the Expedite Display is paired with the POS, the Expedite Display is ready to use.
Unpair Expedite Display from the POS
To unpair the Expedite Display from the POS, follow the steps below:
- On the POS terminal, log in to the Eats365 POS.
- At the top left, tap Settings .
- Under General, tap Device Pairing, then tap Expedite.
- Select the Expedite Display device that you’d like to unpair.
- At the top right, tap Unpair Device.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Once the Expedite Display is unpaired from the POS, the Expedite Display, including its configurations, is deleted. When you pair the device again, you must configure the settings to your preferences again.
