Currency Exchange allows you to switch currencies and automatically convert the customer’s total order amount. For example, if you’ve set up currencies for both Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) and US Dollar (USD) and set the rate to 1 HKD and 0.13 USD respectively, a $100 HKD order will automatically convert to $12.76 USD upon selecting USD currency from the payment page.

Convert payment to a different currency

To change to a different currency, follow the steps below: 

1. On the payment page of the POS, select Cash as the tender method.
2. Tap the currency selector and select the currency that you want to use. The total order amount automatically converts to the selected currency’s exchange rate.
3. To switch to another currency or change back to the default currency, tap the currency selector and select another currency.
4. Enter the balance due amount.
5. Tap Pay to proceed with payment.
