Manage queuing tickets during service interruptions
Learn how to enable “Adaptive Offline Mode” to continue issuing and managing queuing tickets during service disruptions or when the POS is offline.
The “Adaptive Offline Mode” feature allows you to continue issuing and managing queuing tickets from the POS even during service interruptions or when the POS is offline. Normally, several queuing features become unavailable during this time. However, with the Adaptive Offline Mode enabled, you can process queue tickets directly on the Eats365 POS, ensuring uninterrupted service for your customers.
Enable Adaptive Offline Mode
To enable Adaptive Offline Mode, follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Eats365 POS.
- On the queuing management panel, tap Retry. A prompt appears to enable “Adaptive Offline Mode.”
- Tap Turn On Adaptive Offline Mode.
Once “Adaptive Offline Mode” is enabled, you’ll be able to process queuing tickets on the POS locally. Note that other modules such as the Queue Ticket Kiosk and eSignage, and online queuing will be disconnected from the POS and remain unavailable to use during offline mode.
Queuing functions that work normally during offline mode
The following queuing features remain functional on the POS when offline mode is enabled:
