Clone an order
Learn how to copy an order from one table and create the same order on a different table in the Eats365 POS.
The Clone function duplicates an existing order from one table and places the same order for a different table. Additionally, if you select the same table to clone the order, the table splits. For more information about splitting tables, refer to Split a table for different party groups. In this article, you’ll learn how to copy a table’s order to create a new order.

Tip: A comparable scenario where cloning can apply is when a new customer requests the same items as another table. They may say something like “I’d like what they’re having!”
Create a cloned order
To copy an existing order from another table, follow the steps below:
- Select a table with an existing order.
- At the bottom, tap Clone
. A prompt appears stating that “All items in cart will be cloned to new order. Clone order now?”
- Tap Clone, then select the table to place the cloned order. All the items from the previous table are added to a new order for the selected table.
Tip: Ask your customer if they’d like to make any adjustments to their order, such as changing the drinks, or if they have any special requests. You can modify the cloned order before sending the order to the kitchen. - To submit the order, at the bottom left, tap Confirm.
